Water Sports

At the beach of Ermones there is also a water sport centre, where you can enjoy playing with the sea using pedaloes, canoes, windsurfing, ringoes, bananas and water skiing (lessons are being conducted every 2 days).

Museums

Corfu island has a great history. You can see some of it in the museums that are placed mainly in the old town of Corfu.

Old town of Corfu

One of the most beautiful towns in the world, placed in the middle of the island , old town is, with no doubt, one of the place you should visit during your vacations in the island. Many Italian characteristics and the two old fortress around  Spianada -the third bigger square in Europe- compose a spectacle really unforgettable.

Achilleon palace

A palace that Kaiser, the ex-emperor of Austria built for his daughter, princess Sissy in order to save her from a serious melancholy that was killing her. At the top of it state of the art the statue of Achilles and inside of it a great museum , that is converting into casino during the night.

Usefull informations

People here in Corfu speak the Greek language and use euros for their financial transactions (buy and sell). The temperature in early summer is around 25ºC, getting higher to 30º-35ºC in August and getting back to 20ºC in late September- October. Finally the clocks in Corfu are always 2 hours(winter time) / 3 hours(summer time) ahead from Greenwich time.
